Melissa Corporon, Office Manager
Melissa has been with Heartwood Log and Lumber since late 2018. Her main role as the office manager is to handle all financial aspects of the business, including accounts receivables, bill pay, budgeting, etc. She has several years experience in management, including impeccable customer service skills and the ability to create lasting relationships with employees. From time to time, Melissa assists with sales and has quickly adapted to the fast-paced environment.
Melissa resides in Nixa with her husband, Drew, and their two children, Peyton and Mason. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and being active with her church.
Kayla Turner, Customer Service and Training Development
Kayla started with Heartwood Log and Lumber in 2018 as a Customer Service Representative answering phones and assisting management. In her time with the company, she has quickly adapted to other roles in sales, accounts receivables, and training. In 2019, her role transitioned into a training position where she became the primary source for staff training and management assistance.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys playing with her dog, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors. She resides in Sparta with her fiance, Jeff.
Ryan began working for Heartwood’s sister company, 888 Log Guys, in 2017 doing log home restoration, etc. He transferred to Heartwood in 2018 as a yard employee. Ryan has quickly learned what each role in the yard requires and has adapted quickly to the fast-paced environment. His role includes unloading large shipments of materials, unpacking and loading products ordered by customers, and assisting with shop work.
Outside of work hours, Ryan enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He currently resides in Springfield with his wife and children.
Dick has been with Heartwood since the doors opened in 1997. Over the years, he has developed a keen eye for our products, and has mastered the art of woodworking. Dick plays such a critical role in the business, especially as it relates to the beautiful products Heartwood sells.
Sam began working for Heartwood in 2017 as a delivery driver and quickly developed a liking and knowledge for sales and for the outdoor yard and warehouse processes. As our primary delivery driver, he is responsible for making sure the trucks are serviced and confirming that the loading and unloading processes are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Sam resides in Ozark.
